Crafted from natural bamboo, this long-handle chasen is designed to whisk matcha directly in a cup or glass, making daily preparation more practical without the need for a traditional bowl. Its compact, elongated shape helps create a smooth, frothy texture while preserving the ritual of hand-whisked matcha.

Key Benefits:

  • Designed for preparing matcha directly in a cup or glass.
  • Long handle offers comfortable reach and control during whisking.
  • Natural bamboo bristles help blend matcha with water efficiently.
  • Suitable for matcha, matcha lattes, and iced matcha preparations.
  • Compact format is practical for narrower drinkware.

Formula Highlights / Key Features:

  • Made from natural bamboo.
  • Approximate dimensions: 15 cm length and 4 cm diameter at the whisk end.
  • Includes a support stand designed for drying and storage.
  • Natural material may show slight variations from one piece to another.

How to Use:

  • Before first use, soak or moisten the bamboo tines in lukewarm water to help soften them.
  • Add 1 level teaspoon of matcha to a cup or glass, then pour in a small amount of water at up to 75°C.
  • Whisk energetically using quick back-and-forth or “M” motions for about 20 seconds, until a light foam appears.
  • After use, rinse with water only, without detergent.
  • Allow to dry upright with the tines facing upward or laid on its stand in a dry, well-ventilated place.
