Designed for daytime wear, the EPITACT double corrective orthosis for hallux valgus helps realign the big toe while cushioning the forefoot for greater walking comfort. This ultra-thin, flexible and lightweight design is made to fit inside closed shoes, offering targeted support for people experiencing both hallux valgus and plantar forefoot discomfort.
Key Benefits:
- Helps realign the big toe in cases of hallux valgus.
- Helps limit painful rubbing and pressure on the bunion inside the shoe.
- Helps relieve discomfort under the forefoot, including pressure-related soreness and callus-prone areas.
- Ultra-thin, flexible and lightweight for daytime wear.
- Washable and reusable.
Active Ingredients:
- EPITHELIUMFLEX silicone gel tendon: applies traction to help correct the deviation of the big toe.
- EPITHELIUM 26 plantar pad: helps distribute pressure to relieve discomfort under the forefoot.
How to Use:
- Check that the big toe can still move laterally before use.
- Wash the orthosis before first use.
- Insert the forefoot into the strap, then place the sleeve over the big toe.
- Position the orthosis and adjust the level of correction gradually.
- On the first day, do not try to correct the big toe aggressively; over about 10 days, progressively increase tension by pulling the device further back.
- Designed for daytime use during walking; do not wear overnight.
