Active Ingredients:
- Cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon: give the blend its warm, fragrant Kashmiri-style character.
- Tomato, turmeric, and basil: help create a savory, gently spiced sauce base.
- Garlic, coriander, cumin, and chili: add depth, warmth, and aromatic intensity.
How to Use:
- Dice the chicken and finely chop 1 small onion.
- Prepare 100 ml cream and 100 ml water.
- Heat 1–2 tablespoons of cooking oil with spice mix 1 in a non-stick pan until aromatic.
- Add the meat and onion, then sear until browned.
- Add the water and cream, stir in spice mix 2, then simmer covered over low heat for about 5 minutes or until the meat is cooked through. Stir occasionally.
- Tip: the water and cream can be replaced with 200 ml coconut milk. Serve with basmati rice.
