Mrs Flury Algae Oil Omega-3 Capsules contain algae oil derived from the single-celled microalga Schizochytrium sp. The oil is produced through fermentation of the microalgae under controlled conditions in a closed system.
Algae oil is a purely plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function, while DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that the body cannot produce in sufficient amounts on its own and must therefore be obtained through the diet.
